LGL Technologies LLC has multiple openings in The Woodlands, TX – Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations. Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role. Design and implement databases by performing proper requirements gatherings with various sessions with business users. Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity. Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required. Utilize scripting languages like Shell, Python, R. Work with traditional RDBMS and document databases like IBM-DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Amazon RDS, RedShift. Will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Requires Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 2 years experience.
