LGL Technologies LLC has multiple openings in The Woodlands, TX – Oversee and provide guidance on the installation, tuning, implementation and upgrading of DBMS installations. Perform final review and issue final approval on database systems, and coordinate the designing and implementation of databases by performing requirements gathering. Provide guidance and support to Application Developers. Oversee and guide schema design, code review, SQL query tuning, and data modeling using ER Studio and other database modeling tools. Coordinate the enforcement, and documentation of database policies, procedures, and standards. Perform final review and issue final approval of tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity. Utilize scripting languages like Shell, Python, R, IBM-DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Amazon RDS, RedShift. Will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Requires Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 1 year experience.
